How dare someone suggest jewish gals don't give easy oral!
So for your info …. tasteless joke stuff …. Messi plays for Barcelona and the “Classico” is the term for the match when Real Madrid play Barcelona (a huge match in Spain).

It was great to have Jordan back this week! I enjoy him and I can tell him apart from #Al now. I'm glad #Al was there even though Jenna couldn't be there, but I did miss Jenna for sure. I especially realized this when the Jenna drops played and they made me happy. I'm sad to know that you're banning exclamation marks from your life. The oxford comma is one thing, but I can't support exclamations too! I think I agree with Daniel and Alison about Trevor Noah. He may not be a bad guy, but those twitter jokes were offensive because they weren't funny and because they had some barely perceptible hint of distaste to them, particularly the German car one. Ultimately, they were unfunny and tasteless. I don't plan to write him off as a host of the Daily Show, but then again, I don't think I'll immediately be on board with anyone who replaces John Stuart no matter what.

Also, on the underwear topic, Daniel's just looking out for you. While Lena Dunham won't mind seeing them when she's your guest, it's probably best if it doesn't become a part of your guests' Alison experience in general.:)
Alison I noticed an inconsistency in today's show. It was when you were talking about the new host of the Daily Show. First Alison mentioned that the new hosts “mother was black and his father was from Switzerland”. It was repeated verbatim a couple of minutes later by one of your male guests. What might possibly be wrong with that particular sentence?
OK lets break it down: if you were trying to give us a picture of his ethnicity, which would be completely fine and just, you fell short. Mixing the color of his mother with the nationality of his father didn't give me a clear understanding of his ethnicity for the simple fact that not every single male in Switzerland is white, there are a mix of races living there (somewhat shocking isn't it?).
But just for the sake of me getting your intentions completely wrong and reading something into it that wasn't intended to be there. Lets say you were out to clarify the international mix of his parents, why would you then start with his mother being black and omitting mentioning anything about her country of origin?
You see by mixing your descriptions about race and nationality respectively, you just muddled things up…
Ironically, if someone really wants to see your underwear, that's when you really don't want them to see them.

Messi also plays for Argentina's national team.
“I'm not complaining about your underwear on the floor, I'm just trying to help you.” Bwaha, now we're getting to the good stuff.

Estrogen can cause depressive side effects in some people. They don't have to manifest as melancholy, they can show up as the lack of energy etc that you were talking about. And even though you stopped taking it, it could still be working its way through your system, thus the persistence of your symptoms.
Disclaimer: I have no medical or scientific background. This is all just stuff I've learned from hearing Dr. Drew talk to people about their meds for many years on Loveline.
Also, speaking from personal experience- never had much luck with sleeping meds. Only tried over-the-counter stuff, but shared your experience of being super tired after I woke up, because I wasn't getting the right kind of sleep. (see also: alcohol)

Nice fake outrage/moralizing. Unfortunately for those of you who dwell in La-La Land, when most people try to visualize your average nationality, be it Swiss, American, Libyan, or Sri Lankan, they visualize a person of a specific race or ethnicity. I understand you don't like it, a lot of people don't, but spare us your attempts to chide Alison for not being as supremely progressive and race-blind as yourself. It's tiresome and it's unfair.
P.S. When most people in the world picture an American, they don't think of Barack Obama.

Used to work with a white South African and he always would try to refer to himself as African American. Scenarios like “pick me up at the baggage collection, I'll be the African American in the red shirt” were particularly funny.
We want to think of ourselves as progressive. We are usually just unthinking herd animals.

Darkheart: I believe your last sentence written here after P.S. might sum up your total mindset and intentions on this subject…

It's an expression of reality. That you think it's not sums up your own facile self-righteousness.

It's jmoepatrol.com. I've only listened to the first episode so far, but I like it. Jason Dix especially has a nice Alison Origin story about how he became a diahard fan of hers.

I wish lefty types would get into a room (by themselves so the rest of us don't have to) and figure out exactly what they want with race and culture. Diversity exists/doesn't exist, only allowed to make positive statements about race distinctions, none at all, only progressives are allowed to because they mean well, etc.

Yes he does play for Argentina ….. But she was taking about “El Classico” which has nothing to do with Argentina …. That is phrase for very hyped up matches between Messi's Barcelona and Ronaldo's Madrid.
