Alison is joined by Greg Heller, Jeff Fox, Daniel Quantz, Jenna Kim Jones and Allan Moss for a discussion of romantic confusion, saying “Adolph” at the Coors Factory, maternity pants, Al’s dream cheating, cats, budgets and so much more. We also did a round of Just Me Or Everyone (click here to see the JMOEs from this episode).

At 27:35 Greg asked for the group's permission to say something offensive.
” Go for it! ” was the reply, so he attempted to joke about the crushing the glass custom. Was not funny, even if you happened to know about the custom. And for those hearing an explanation for the first time, Greg's tasteless “joke” will feed into ugly mischaracterizations.

Very funny episode! As usual, I took notes.:) :
We have most of our money in a joint account, but we give ourselves equal allowance each paycheck that comes in that we can spend however we want without having to justify it to each other.
I'm so glad Jenna felt bad for Lindsey Sterling. I love that she understands that there's no point in being so uptight about what other people do when it's not harming anyone. Jenna's “and then 4 minutes later you're pregnant” was a surprise and an awesome one at that. She was great on the old Thursday shows, but she's really come into her own with this new incarnation of the group.
“Actually, that doesn't make sense. It's just something I heard my mother say.” was hilarious from Alison.
Yes, I have two sets of shirts that are the same in style, but different colors, and they do seem to fit differently.
I love that Greg and Jeff love cats! My cat, however, does often come when I call him, usually indignantly meowing for a treat.
I get Alison's confusion about what a guy means when he says “romantic”, but I also get what Daniel means when he says it. I don't understand how people can be so crappy to Daniel. Everything points to him being a wonderfully supportive, funny, intelligent, creative husband and person.
I've listened to last Thursday's episode three times and I'm sure I'll be listening to this one again this week.

This episode seems to be getting a little less feedback in the usual places. Just wanted to chime in and say how much I enjoyed this one. Jenna really let it all hang out (despite her maternity clothing which did the reverse). Both she and #al were really funny this episode, and Greg continues to ask really good questions.
The thing about Dave Ramsey is that he's not really talking to you, but you should pretend he's talking to you. But when it makes you rage, just remind yourself he's not really talking to you.

No it won't. Not sure if it was funny. I have high standards for funny, but there is,zero chance that joke is going to change anyone's opinion.
So, what's the story on the sexual repression?

I'm not sure who you feel it's offensive to but just want to pipe in that I'm Christian and I wasn't offended
One of my number one pet peeves is when people take any Life Event (such as pregnancy, especially a first pregnancy) and Tell Horror Stories to the person who is newly experiencing said life event. That woman at the maternity store had no business making body shaming comments to Jenna. Yes, pregnancy changes your body. So does age. So does diet. So does a car accident. So does disease. So does being punched in the face. All bodies are good bodies and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect, not “faux warnings” and shaming. JENNA: enjoy your pregnancy all you can! It's an amazing miracle and a special time for you and your family. Do NOT listen to anyone that tells you that you are “doing it wrong” unless he or she is your obstetrician and he or she is giving you medical advice regarding a medical issue – and even then remember you have options and you are 100% the boss of your body.

It's a bad joke that fell flat, wasn't funny just mostly shocking. That said, still love Greg! It's comedy, he's trying to be funny, it's unrehearsed, off the cuff remark. Someone makes a bad Jew joke and I'm going to let that color my opinion of what I think of an entire group of people? Lighten up, Francis. Most people aren't that dumb, and if they are you can't help them. I don't let the million stereotypes about my people bother me, there's no prize for being the “Most frequently offended people on earth”.

I have a theory on why you seem somewhat dissociated from your body. I know this sounds awfully presumptuous. Have you done the Myers -Briggs personality test (or inventory)? I can't remember if you ever discussed it. It might be a fun Thursday show for people to take a quick version on their own time and then have people try to guess everyone else's “category.”
