Alison is joined by special guest Greg Heller plus Jenna Kim Jones, Jeff Fox, Daniel Quantz, Dustin Goot and Allan Moss for a discussion of remaining vulnerable, Utah dental conventions, everyone except Alison thinking a certain doctor is “weird,” Gilmore Girls, Greg “The California Asshole” Heller, babies named Adolf, Wolfenstein, Sundays and Alison’s garbage farts. We also did a round of Just Me Or Everyone (click here to see the JMOEs from this episode).

Damn it feels goot to be a Thursday gangster.
That is a lot of white people. I always forget, do Jews count for diversity score? Just busting chops. I know this sounds racist to some people. It's not. What this kind of thing makes fun of (much better by actual pros) is society, not Jews et.al.
Wow. Those drops are almost creepily hi-def. You can't tell it isn't the person in real time until you process the context. Good job, Jeff. Or bad job. Maybe they need to be roughened up a bit to modulate the auditory uncanny valley effect.
Re: Animation story: Wait, someone else with a life spends energy for someone and then the other person's brain can only perceive how it effects themselves and whether it makes them look good on the surface of image rather than authenticity and relationships? If only we had a word to describe that personality behavior type!

Ha! I have the same issue with thinking the drops are live. There have been moments when I’ve thought, “Well, that was a kind of rude response”, but then realize that it was a drop.:)
I hate to tell ya this – but Daniel is right about not going to the dentist. Also, genes and where you grew up have a lot to do with your dental health and destiny, too. It really is best to get 'em cleaned and checked on the regular. Also, Alison, my mom got gingivitis during at least 2 of her 3 pregnancies and said it was a pain in the neck (or, um, gums). I guess the hormonal changes during preggos can cause it. Probably a good idea to get a quick cleaning and exam before baby in the tummy time just to be on the up & up. 😉
I never washed new clothes before wearing either, until I had my first baby. Now I wash everything before wearing, including our clothes. I'm pretty sure it's to get rid of the chemicals but I really can't remember anymore…

Yep. Go before you get pregnant because you can't have X-rays during pregnancy. It's better to get everything taken care of now. If something happens while you are pregnant you won't be able to take any good pain meds.

How's it going with the non-Apple access to the LA Podfest shows and, most importantly, the ringtone? *nudge*

I've gotten a rash from a new, unwashed shirt at least twice. Now new clothes go right in the watching machine, as soon as I bring them home. I think it's kind of crazy that (seemingly) most people don't.
I also noticed that drops were somewhat difficult to spot. I think we just need to get used to the cadences and inflections. They are still relatively new.

Alison! Thank you for addressing the teeth-brushing at work madness! I don't know what it is, but where I work, all the Asian ladies meticulously brush their teeth every day. And I mean they get down and dirty with it, brushing for like five minutes and even flossing! AND IT'S ONLY THE ASIAN LADIES. I don't understand what their dentists are telling them….How are they all getting the message that they must brush like mad women!
