This is the first guest since that woman who was happy about having a miscarriage that I've genuinely disliked. I realize that he has mental health issues, but his general personality seems very abrasive. He seemed to try to justify his nasty behavior to other people just because they were curt with him. He didn't seem to take any responsibility for his actions.

Lol, it's good to know that it's not just me who felt this way… First guest who's really made me think 'I do not like this person'…

You know I listened to this episode twice because I did have a weird feeling too – because I genuinely liked his first appearance on ARIYNBF but this time, Brody just seemed too mad and too sad too ??? Even Alison seemed to be brought down a bit by the end of the interview – I sincerely wanted to give them both a hug. Clearly, our country is pathetically ignorant of mental health issues and like every other “right” we ever achieved, nice, quiet, funny, friendly people don't get them, we got Independence at bayonet point, women got the right to vote by strident, unpleasant women like Alice Paul, Susan B Anthony and Cady Stanton – legends in their own time but not someone who would have given good pod, ditto the heroes of Civil Rights. Its hard that all. We need to figure this out as a society and as fellow human beings on this journey.

I concur, guys. He wasn't a horrible person, per se, but this was one of the handful of episodes I couldn't get through. I disagree — I did think he was taking responsibility, but he just wasn't likable or interesting.

I finished the episode (only 1 episode has ever made me just say 'screw this' and skip to the next in my queue)… But the next time I see something involving Brody Stevens, instead of saying 'Oh, I found he/she interesting on ARIYNBF, I'm going to check that out', I'll likely give it a pass…
