some of the anecdotes about growing up in orange county make me cringe… country clubs, yacht club, cotillions… i realize it is your experience and your right to talk about it. maybe i can't relate because i, like most of your audience, had a childhood that was not at all upper class. specifically, some of gary's offhand comments come across as elitist and are jarring. that being said, it is free content (which is amazing, thanks for all you do) and I love the podcast. just hoping to communicate one listener's experience.
yeah, they were lucky to have those luxuries, but even luckier to have such an amazing job- podcasting. i envy that.
