Alright, here's an explanation for the reasoning behind the shower squeegee since Matt wasn't able to explain it coherently.
There are two main reasons that you should squeegee off your body before you step out of the shower to towel off:
1. You're lessening the amount of water dripping off of your body onto the floor for the couple of seconds it takes you to grab the towel and remove the water from your body.
This is both an act of consideration for the next person to use the bathroom after you, and just an extra safety step for yourself, since water on the floor is slippery.
2. When you're done drying, then your towel isn't sopping wet, it's only damp.
This means that your towel will be completely dry for your next toweling in a much shorter period of time. If you have to shower twice in a day, you'll be happy that you squeegeed ahead of time.
OMG. Gary, please punch Chris' neighbor. Please. I can't take it anymore.
Alison and Chris, this site is a support forum and info site for people who are related to or involved with people with personality disorders and it has a great definition and info about boundaries: http://www.outofthefog.net/Com….
Alison: For a-holes saying mean things I use the Romy and Michelle exit plan, “I have to go. I cut my foot earlier and my shoe is filling up with blood.” Also, have you ever noticed that Adam often says “thur” instead of “their” or “they're” or “there”? Fascinating stuff.

re: people being mean online v in person:
On the Internet, you aren't a person, so it's OK to say mean things about you, even directly to you. You are just some song I don't like, some social stance, or some pet peeve of mine.
In person, you are a person.
With that in mind, it's unlikely that anyone who approaches you in person and says something rude is one of your serious online haters; if any of them were to find themselves standing next to you, they would have been pushed into reality. More likely they would never approach you in the first place.
It is much more likely that the person who said the thing to you just put his foot in his mouth.
