This was a moving and very funny episode. I was so glad to hear you and Jenna share how you feel about each other and love that Jenna felt safe enough about you to be excited to tell you about her pregnancy. I know of many women with fertility struggles who would try to be happy for their friends who get pregnant, but have a hard time with it. To one of my sister's credit, however, she was very supportive and happy for another sister when she announced her pregnancy, even though she is currently struggling to get pregnant.
Great to hear that Rosanne loves you. I'm glad Greg is happy for you even though she didn't seem to take to him though.:) You're all such supportive friends to each other.:)
Thanks for another awesome show. I love all of your episodes, but I feel like the last three have been especially awesome.
PS. Greg's drop was ridiculously hilarious.

Also, I appreciate Greg's questions. They're straight forward and often something that I was wondering too. This time, I was glad that he asked Jenna what her and Al's conversation was before they told Alison. Her answer was perfect and I loved that the answer meant a lot to Alison.

Every time I get a manicure they make me bleed on 3 out of 5 fingers on my right hand with the cuticle pushing/cutting. I tell them, “my cuticles are sensitive, please be careful.” They don't listen and then I bleed everywhere for the entire thing and it's far from relaxing. Drives me nuts. That's why I get a manicure like once a year. My nails look great right now but those 3 fingers are STILL healing and it's been 2 weeks.

I'm not even all the way through the episode, but I had to say, in the last several weeks cover photos, both Alison and Jenna have looked absolutely STUNNING. There really is such a radiant glow coming off you girls. Pregnancy hormones suit you both 🙂 🙂

It's completely normal to be happy for a friend who is (fill in the blank – pregnant, married, getting promoted, etc) and have it trigger sadness, “why not me?” feelings, etc at the same time – even longer than just immediately upon learning the information. What is NOT normal is to completely lose your shit with someone who (fill in the blank) when you have not but want to (fill in the blank) or attempt to sabotage them or cut them from your life SOLELY for that reason. However, if someone reading this finds themselves in the “not normal” category – do not despair! DO seek help from a licensed psychotherapist. For real! They can help.

I'm not a mani person, but I love a good pedi. I have found the key is to go to a salon / specific technician that is highly recommended for their service (expect to pay them well, too). Any professional that performs a grooming service (beautician, esthetician, nail tech, whatever) that DOESN'T make their client's physical comfort (and safety, of course) their #1 priority is NOT someone worth going to as far as I'm concerned. I found a fantastic independent salon in my town that only does natural nail work (no acrylics – no horrid smells!). They even make their own lotions and potions and they are just amazing and wonderful. I tell everyone I know to go to them, they will change your mind about getting a pedi.

you need a new salon! that's crazy!

Great show, per usual. The wit and vocab of almost every one of the group puts me in awe. The oooone thing I wish for the Thursday shows is to do away with the sound effects/drops completely. It got so ridiculous that I stopped listening for a few weeks, and it seems it's been toned down a bunch. Still, it is still a bit much and very distracting.
