I said this on Facebook, but I'll say it here again.
This was a very good interview. I enjoyed Jennifer's insights,
humorous self deprication and honest assessments. She pulled no punches about Richard,
but also clearly loved the man. She seemed to be honest and open about his faults/flaws
(as well as her own) while still protecting and respecting his legacy, which is refreshing.
I liked that she understand that her stories and experiences were outrageous and
crazy and was funny about it. I thought she sounded intelligent, funny and honest.
I also liked her story and thoughts on the n-word. As for her thoughts on Bill Cosby,
she was very educated and knowledgeable about the situation and said much more important
things about it than the “Bill Cosby is a piece of sh**” that the media
outlets have been reporting.

This is my first time listening to your podcast and I loved it! Definitely going to add you to must “must-listen” list.
Nice job with the interview Alison. That said, I find this woman fairly suspect. I get the feeling that her codependency on Richard led to some pretty severe disregard and disrespect for his children. No matter how complicated things are in a family, it just doesn't seem right that his family shouldn't wind up with the bulk of the control of his legacy and finances. I strongly doubt Richard would be alright with that as a father. I don't know exactly what happened there, but I bet she manipulated Richard in a big way somehow. It's subtle (or maybe not?) but she's just a bit too charming and falsely modest to be trusted in my opinion. When discussing his kids, she sounds dismissive and not credible, to my ear anyway.

excellent interview, I have been a fan of Richard since the 70's, and this filled in many pieces of the story

Wow. What an interview.
You have a lot to catch up on, this is by far the best podcast out there. There is no other interviewer out there who delves celebrities' true selves like Alison. Then couple that with the hilarious inanity (in a good way) of the group podcasts…unparalleled! Wait, why aren't I writing an itunes review? #5stars

Bill Cosby is a serial rapist sociopath. Richard Pryor had a Playboy playmate (yes, one from the magazine) butt-naked in bed with him. She decided not to have sex. Richard put on his clothes and left the room. Thats what a real man does. Bravo Jennifer!
