Who would leave you a rude comment?! You’re beautiful, intelligent, and funny. You’re the complete package! That guy who left the comment must be some kind of idiot.

Missed your smile. And your hair. There isn’t enough of you on ACE. And we all miss ARIYNBF. But hey, you’re working and getting paid. Hopefully you can squeeze in an episode sometime soon.

Hi Alison- you guys make my commute every day, just wanted to say thanks. Love your quick wit … and wish they wouldn’t step on some of your funniest lines!

Cool… if you had added a little wire work, this would’ve looked just like a Shaw Brothers movie…

But yeah, I totally agree with you on this one… in fact, I don’t even aspire as high as you do… my hope is to either be tolerated or unnoticed.

Thanks for putting the shine-reduction on hold and posting. 5 Stars for the lack of pretense, candor, and consistent wit.

Not to get all sexist, but women do seem to have a greater need to be liked than men do, perhaps as part of being more social. On top of a mild trauma which recently happened (the situation with your car), I can understand you overreacting to some anonymous person posting a comment on a video of yours (which has thousands of views, and only one negative comment, btw).

I would tell you (and people generally) to stop being so sensitive to these things, but that doesn’t seem productive enough. It occurs to me that half of these sorts of reactions are normal, but the other half comes from a lack of confidence in oneself. Not a Charlie-Sheen-style grandiosity where you tell yourself (and others) how great you are, but a more subtle and quiet confidence about who you are. So that, because your default state is a grade “B,” a positive or negative comment will only push you up to “B+” or down to “B-“. As opposed be idling at “C-” and having a positive comment push you up to “A-” or having a negative one swing you back to an “F”.

I hope that made any sense. I would have used the weird letter grades they used at my elementary school, but O, S, N and U don’t quite have the same ring to them…

Hey, Alison. If you hadn’t mentioned anything about shine, I don’t think anyone would have noticed because you have a glow of awesomeness. I was also thinking that if you ever wanted to moon-light, you could have a future in Kung Fu movies. Teehee. FYI: That’s just a reference to the audio being out of sync. I like explaining my jokes because it makes me feel important. *Shrugs. I’m also sorry that you get the occasional hater. I think people get brave sitting in the comfort of their own home. I don’t think people should be so critical of those in the public eye. I know it’s easy to say to just let it go but don’t let the detractors effect/affect? you. I swear I still don’t know the difference between those two. No matter how many times it’s explained to me. Anyways, just remember that there are those of us that think you’re the bomb dot com and we far out-weigh the haters.

P.S. Lu yew too! (When you type it out like that, it looks less creepy.)

lol now that’s the old Alison we’ve been missing! Funny. I wonder what parts were shinny….
Oh and not trying to start a fight, but I think you like fighting with people. You ignore the nice comments (for the most part) but go out of your way to fight with someone that you know is just trying to get the famous pretty girl to respond to them. Don’t change, I’m just making an observation. :oD

  23. Tony Muckleroy March 24, 2011 at 3:38 pm #

Remember she’s got a missing a window and a GPS, so it’s what 2 hours of wind blown hair? Well maybe longer if she gets lost.

I agree with Tony. Hey, you can respond to whomever you want. As Bobby Brown says, its your prerogative. You pay for the website. However, I sent in a very small question a while ago and got no response; meanwhile, the rude individual gets two minutes. It doesn’t hurt hurt, but I have to say it is a bit disappointing. On the other hand, some days we’re just more sensitive. Such is life.

  30. Alison Rosen March 25, 2011 at 10:50 am #

Ed, your question wasn’t small! It was something which required a
contemplative thoughtful response which I couldn’t just dash off which is
why I haven’t yet responded… I get very backlogged, so it’s often the
comments or questions that require just a few words and not much thought
    that I get to first…

Too much poo and not enough Alison on the show today!

  32. Tony Muckleroy March 25, 2011 at 11:02 am #

Let me clarify Ed. I was a fan of Alison’s when she made frequent appearances on Red Eye, and then for nearly a year on ARIYNBF (gone but not forgotten <== another poke). I actually became a moderator for the show. So when I type things like I did above I'm kind of poking Alison because she knows me and I think she understands my intent is always positive. I know from experience that Alison doesn't always respond but when she does its a quality response. :oD

  33. Alison Rosen March 25, 2011 at 11:08 am #

    Thank you, TonyMoooooo

  34. Tony Muckleroy March 25, 2011 at 11:19 am #

I agree with the “not enough Alison” and I think many new to Alison agree. At the risk of getting in trouble, may I suggest that you tweet to @ACEBroadcasting that Alison should have her own show? I’ve done a couple already, but Adam and company could just dismiss that to a lone wayward stalker, now if we get enough stalkers to request it… After all Adam said himself, Donny keeps adding shows!

  35. Edbruby March 25, 2011 at 1:02 pm #

Oh, of course, I understand. I wasn’t trying to be needy or weird; just saying. The problem with DBs is that the pragmatics of them is fakakta, so…At any rate, whenever you get a chance. In the meantime, I will be nursing a bottle of Cutty Sark and a bag of Nutter Butters. Just kidding (well, about the Nutter Butters).

Alison, have people told you that you resemble exotic Russian beauty and famous operatic soprano Anna Netrebko?

Google some images of her, I think you’ll agree there are some where she strongly resembles exotic Orange County beauty and famous writer and racconteur Alison Rosen.

At least on her good days she looks like you. There are some bad photos of her too, and then no. Let me put it another way, she WISHES she looked more like you, all the time, instead of just sometimes.
