Does anyone else

ever suspect those Snapple “real facts” are total bullshit?

To wit: real fact #124 “Seals sleep only one and a half minutes at a time.”

Really? I once napped with a seal and excuse me, but I think I would have noticed if he was up every 90 seconds.

I have a hard time believing the news let alone a Snapple bottle cap!

Besides I have a faint memory of waking up next to a walrus only to find out it was my friends older sister. That’s when I started the No Tequila rule. Maybe not the same as napping with a seal, but maybe I’ve said too much.

I had to look up the Snapple facts on the internet, but I know some of them aren’t true.

Several have been “busted” on Mythbusters:

#1 A goldfish’s attention span is three seconds – not true.

    #36 A duck’s quack doesn’t echo – not true.

#77 No piece of paper can be folded more then 7 times – not true (Mythbusters folded one either 10 or 11 times)

#58 A sneeze travels out of your nose at 100 mph – Mythbusters measured the speed of a sneeze once and I THINK it was something like 20 mph. Not sure about that one though.

I KNEW all those hours watching Mythbusters would pay off some day!

These facts jive with your DD’s and washboard abs as revealed on the special Red Eye cam.

That was a fantastic response, AR. 😀

I wish you had walked over to TV’s Andy Levy, though, when we saw what a lousy place they had you in. It was so funny to see you hide your head in shame after you muttered something about squeezing AL’s little head. Very cute. Very funny.

    Excellent Red Eye last night!

Your sitting behind Andy during the half-time report, and waving, was great. I don’t know if you could tell how it came across on TV, Alison, but it’s going to end up being one of those favorite moments the Red Eye fans talk about. Well done!

You looked enchanting too! The blue dress looked absolutely beautiful on you!

I’ll never understand gambling addictions. The last thing in the world I’d want to do is sit in a casino for hours, playing cards with people I don’t know, losing money. Don’t people realize all the odds are against them? And then they’re so surprised when they lose.

Andy’s Fox News Alert was very similar to my post on The Daily Gut yesterday, so that was really cool!

Does anyone else think Andy and Carrie Keagan need to get a room?

Joe, I noticed that watching the show last night about the alert. Congrats!
Alison marvelous as usual. Your appearances always make the show that much more enjoyable for me. I always like it, but when you’re on there, I know it’s gonna be a great one. Last night was no exception.
I know a little bit about Seal. After I saw him in concert we shared a cab and…oh those seals. 😉

I always got my useful information from Red Dog© beer. It was a hit at parties. Yes, it tasted like “insert adjective” but what a hit at parties. It was a walking conversation piece, along with Tab©. Sorry I strayed there.

More importantly here. I agree with the fellas. I haven’t had a chance to see Red Eye for quite some time now and last night was the bomb diggity. You did your thang’ as usual. Not only do you talk the talk with your unique humor, you walk the walk. That was an instant classic, and I thought that was the neatest thing. Only Alison could have pulled that classic maneuver. That was lol funny. I thought all the guests had a great show. And the fellas’ did their thing as well. Excellent show. “Shut up Michael.” I will just give me a sec.

    Michael.

Pow, that’s one of the things I really like about Red Eye. I remember how surprised I was when I realized Greg & Co. actually read the posts on The Daily Gut. And surprise again when Greg started using some of them. How many other shows do that?

Some of the best laughs I get during the day are from the posts you and others put on TDG. It’s like Greg has a group of unpaid writers who want to contribute just because it’s so much fun.

Top it all off with guests like Alison and you just can’t lose.
