Cole Stratton (SF Sketchfest, Nash Bridges, Pop My Culture Podcast) is a lifelong improviser and one of the founders and directors of SF Sketchfest. We discuss all facets of the acclaimed, long-running comedy festival. He also just released a limited series podcast with Janet Varney and a stable of improv heavy hitters called The Bat: Improv In the Dark. We chat about the pros and cons of literally performing in the dark as well as talk about his history with comedy, the early days of HBO, his scrappy underdog kittens, his marriage, advice for launching a festival, who’s easy to work with and who’s hard to work with and so much more including Topic Sombrero and Just Me Or Everyone.
