This episode starts with a little bit of sad news before moving into a discussion of Greg’s obsession with giant bugs. Also Jenna feels a trifle betrayed by Alison, Al got a pedicure and Greg wants to know if Al and Jenna ever swear in their minds. We also did a #SnackChat involving Swiss snacks, answered some listener questions about long distance relationships and did a round of Just Me Or Everyone. Plus we talked about an adoptable dog named Carmela.

Here’s Carmela
Probably late but you could get a window unit. Don’t drop it on your car like I almost did.
When are you guys going to start a band?
Yeahhh for a strong bounding heartbeat! I am sorry for your loss, you are going to grieve and hurt, but you are going to be fine. I could tell you some stories to make you feel better, but the ultimate point is we have no control over what happens in life and you are going with the flow very well. Love the air conditioning meltdown theory too, I totally relate to that sinking feeling from when I had a miscarriage, I had a complete unexplained freak out the day before it happened to me. And twins would be really super hard, some people do it great, and if you have them it is it’s own thing for sure. This is a great example of how life is bittersweet and we have to get comfortable (uggh) with positive and negative feelings at once, and all the time.
Also Daniel I got in trouble at work for saying sucks to a customer ages ago, and I was shocked, same as you I did not even think of it as an issue, or what it implied. Greg had so many great throwaway jokes – “that is my favorite hoos” for ex, “how can you have any pudding if you don’t eat your meat!”. And hashtag Al “I hope I actually like it” is a great sum-up of my reaction on hearing cheesecake will be served.
