What did I think of last night’s show? As John Mayer said, “That girl, for me, is a drug and drugs aren’t good for you if you do lots of them. Yeah, that girl is like crack cocaine to me. Sexually it was crazy. That’s all I’ll say. It was like napalm, sexual napalm.”
Great show, Miss R! It seemed like it might have been a little more challenging for you than usual, but you handled it well. Too bad Michael couldn’t make it because of the snow, but he’ll be there next week. Andrew was funny and quirky. It was hilarious hearing Tom do some voice-overs. My favorites on Red Eye are the ones like, “Guests of Red Eye stay at the beautiful Hampton Inn…” and they show a picture of some old abandoned warehouse. Great stuff.
I think the 2010 Calendar broadcast drew some viewers away, but that’s going to happen once in a while. For me, I’ll take ARIYNBF every time!!
Thanks for another fun Ustream show Alison! Andrew was a great guest, if a little scary at times! And Tom’s voice-overs were terrific. It was also very nice of Michael Showalter to be your special telephone guest, even though I would have done the same thing despite my being on my death bed here! 😉 We’ll be on tenterhooks all week, wondering if he’ll be your in-house guest on the next show! I hope that he won’t be influenced by the fact that not doing so will mean that he is a rotten, miserable creep, instead of a wonderful, nice guy. But no pressure or anything.
Last night, it was so funny how my simple mention of the show “Bully Beatdown” caused Andrew to launch into a dozen truly horrible stories of blood, guts, and gore! Just to explain, that show happened to lure me in, despite my complete lack of interest in pro wrestling, or ultimate fighting. The premise is that some poor soul writes in because they are being mercilessly bullied by some clod. Then they approach the bully with an offer of $10,000 if they can go toe-to-toe with an MMA fighter. In the first round of grappling, they lose one thousand each time they are forced to “tap out”, and in the second round of kick boxing, they have to survive the whole 3 minutes to get the other 5 thousand. It’s my pleasure to see these arrogant, out of shape bullies first brag about how great they’ll do, but then get clobbered, and end up apologizing, and going home with a new perspective on life!
