Lose the large dangly earrings! You say they are “distracting” and you are correct! What are they distracting from?!? Your lovely face! Seriously, go with smaller earrings…the focus needs to be on your lovely, expressive face and not some giant art project to the left and right.
What’s more with this Alison…and I simply HAVE to object…why oh why were you not in the main studio?!? It seems only right that you and Diana Falzone (in all of your combined feline charms) should be book ending the ever confused Bill. The random other (unattractive male) guest would be better served as the “remote” guest….
Is Greg just scared of too much heat next to him in the studio?
I just actually got the wangdoodles for my niece. My 3rd grade teacher Mrs. Bobbit read it to me. Can’t wait to read frst before I pass it on. I’m 39. Is that weird. The earrings were a little distracting FYI. I see you on red eye and just this once decided to see wtf you do. I dig you, keep being silly.
Great job on Red Eye last night, Alison! Really fun show, although I agree with you that the whole Olbermann/Coulter thing sounded like something from junior high. And even junior high-schoolers would have sounded juvenile doing all that.
About the book reviews, a lot of the guys here are probably thinking, ‘Isn’t Party Girl a book for girls?’ to which I quickly respond NO NO NO!! I read PG in December and loved it. It’s a great story with great characters. If you like reading Anna’s blog, you’ll like her book too. So buy it. Come on guys… it’s ANNA!
And I’ll make it super E-Z for you… here’s the link to order it.
I agree with Joe, I think the large earrings are awesome when you are on tv. They don’t distract, but look very glamorous. You could wear small earrings, but that would be kinda boring with the rest of your outfits. In fact, I think you look fantastic on your Red Eye appearances. You always have that urbane, sophisticated, classic beauty appearance. I love it.
Are the book reviews part of the commercialization of this blog? A little add thrown into each vlog?
I’m just kidding.
For the last few years I’ve been drifting back in time and re-reading lots of stuff and in many cases reading stuff I should have read in my youth (Lord of the Rings, The Ender sci-fi series, etc).
I’ve not yet seen Friday’s RE, but I’m looking forward to it.
Also, “Brett” is a total impostor. Well, maybe not but he’s not me.
Lew is so right, it was an injustice that RE had you on the remote. It was crazy and ridiculous if only for the fact that you are older and wiser then Diana. BTW, I liked the pic of you in the coat, I’m thinking about blowing it up and framing it.
Are you wearing Blinky in that clip…I think you are!
I’m BACK! After four arduous days of moving….I’m broadcasting from a new Office and I love it! The Internet is flippin fast in my new castle! 1.3 GB Upload…that’s upload people!

In much love…

Alison, don’t listen to Lew. Your earrings were/are fantastic… and SEXY! Trust me on this one!
Thanks for vlogging, Alison!

A future question, how was the experience the first time you realized you were the “TALENT”.
No Nietzsche recos this week?
Were you a fan of Reading Rainbow growing up? Maybe it was just after your time?
I like how they end off each recommendation segment with, “But, you don’t have to take my word for it. Dah-Dam..Da.”
