I just read your article and enjoyed it. If memory serves me correctly, I think I was about in the 8th grade when they were really big. And no way did we think “Push It.” was about dancing. I also like the callabo they did with En Vogue I think it was En Vogue, “Whatta Man.” I’m not so sure it was the actual song or the video I enjoyed more. Those were, and still are, gorgeous women. Way off topic here, but I noticed with the Keitel, and Salt n’ Pepa interviews it took a while between when you announced the interview versus when it is actually published. I’m assuming the wheels of publication turns slowly. Nothing negative or anything, just a curiosity.
Also, I didn’t know wheather to laugh or cry when I read yours and Wendy’s last convo. I’m assuming you’re okay. I guess the only good that came out of it at least from where I stand is, I needed to rehearse my own *trip and fall.* plan. I try to have prepared reactions to different kinds of embarrassments, kinda like an evacuation plan at a business. I have different reactions according to what degree the embarrassment might be, and also how much pain I just endured. So..I guess…thank you… kinda…maybe.
Well, I’m going on my self-imposed 2 day hiatus from the net. So I’ll see all you good people on Tues. But knowing me, I’ll probably pop in. Alison, have a great weekend, and to all my fellow bloggers have a great weekend.
Speaking of falling down, I was in San Francisco once, and a woman I worked with was there at the same time. She had a friend who lived in the city, so one evening the 3 of us decided to have dinner together.
We were walking very quickly from the hotel to Ghirardelli Square, and it was really crowded, so we were ducking around people, on and off the sidewalk and the street, between cars…
The friend and I were talking and looking at each other instead of where we were going, and suddenly WHAP!! She walked full speed right into a parking meter! It was like she was right next to me one second and suddenly she wasn’t there anymore.
Thankfully she wasn’t hurt, just shaken up a little, and we ended up having a nice evening. It was one of the funniest things I ever saw though.
