Tim Heidecker is a comedian, writer, producer, actor, director, host and musician. You know him from Adult Swim’s Tim and Eric’s Awesome Show, Great Job! and myriad related projects including Check it Out! with Dr. Steve Brule and On Cinema. He hosts the popular Office Hours Live call in podcast. He stars in Showtime’s Moonbase 8 and he’s also an accomplished musician, who just released a critically acclaimed album called Fear of Death. We talked about growing up in Allentown, PA, his political awakening, whether he has regrets, getting older, his patience and empathy for kids who get swept up into movements, trolls, the degree to which his material is scripted versus improvised, his marriage, fatherhood and so much more.
