This was really sweet! I hadn't tuned in for awhile (sorry!) and just binge-listened to Daniel week and your wedding recap episode. It sounds like you found yourself a good one and you're quite well-matched. Congrats on your wedding!

  • Julie

Daniel is adorbs and I wish you both the most happiness in marriage. I was also one who misread attention and cues/lots of u requited love. Totally resonated with that! Great ep!

  • Really enjoyed this episode. So nice to finally meet Daniel, see Alison happy and hear the chemistry between the two. Congratulations on the wedding!!

I was sooo excited for this episode and it didn't disappoint! Daniel is awesome! Congrats you two!

more importantly, when is alison coming back to work on adam's podcast? her replacement is grating and has the worst laugh i've ever heard in radio or any form of media.

I absolutely loved todays episode with Daniel! He is a perfect fit for Alison - smart, funny, sweet and handsome. I actually cried at work (not cool) listening to his story and relating to his childhood. Thank goodness Daniel took a leap and went for it or they wouldn't be so happy in love today.
PS I have the same JMOE as Daniel. I picture the guys singing the intro songs as well and Dawson sings "Hey Do You Know".

  • JMOE...Daniel sounds exactly like one of the Thursday crowd...I think Matt. Just compare the senior seduction story from last week side by side with any Daniel clip from this show.

Daniel and Chris are voice TWINS.

  • boinkity

    OMG..... is Daniel..... TedfromAccounting?????

  • Ted_Goodlove

Boink!!!!!! I was thinking it was you.

  • Dori Green

Your husband is so cute, and I love his voice!

  • Kurt

Once again it is like seeing a movie version of a book character, Daniel isn't like I had imagined him. You look good together!!! Congratulation/ Mazel Tov!

Congratulations. That picture should be a reference for what happiness looks like.

OMG, 10 seconds in I was like "Daniel fits in ARIYNBF perfectly". You guys are great together. I got teary several times. Fo realz! So glad you found each other.

A very sweet episode. I didn't really know what to expect, because this never really happens, where the host of a show interviews her fiance/boyfriend/husband. The closest thing I remember is Erin McGathy (This Feels Terrible) doing an episode with an ex-boyfriend, and it was funny and weird and uncomfortable (in a great way).

But this ep with Daniel was not only sweet, but...dangerous? There's a kind of peril in the openness and intimacy I could hear, because there's such capacity for injury. There were a couple questions where I felt a real suspense for that reason, as if I were in the conversation myself.

    Great ep.

edit: also, April Richardson (of Go Bayside, the Saved by the Bell podcast which I have been campaigning for you to do) did an episode with one of her exes, and shit got pretty real, but it was also uncomfortable in a great way.

  • badabingo

    I totally concur!

  • Matthew fleming

Nice to finally meet him. Congratulations you two!

I loved this episode. Daniel is awesome!

The, "white stuff" in the egg is the embryo. It is what would have developed into the chick. My mother used to always pick that stuff out too. However, since most commercial eggs are not fertilized it never would've developed into a chick.
As for candles, I always swish the melted wax around in the candle to distinguish the flame. That makes the candle go out immediately by depriving it of oxygen so you don't get the smoke and afterburn.
