Last night's show, Playboy mansion, stuff I've written

On last night’s show, the very first Alison Rosen Is Your New Best Friend of the new  year, we started talking about the band Zebrahead for some reason which allowed me to remind everyone that I’ve been to the Playboy Mansion three times, which I like to work into as many conversations as possible. Here’s the story I mentioned writing about Zebrahead shooting their video at the mansion.

And while we’re discussing my Playboy oeuvre, which we may as well discuss, here are some other stories I wrote from that time: Sex Ed., Sex Court, this thing.

While trying to find the above stories I just stumbled onto this. I think I’m on wikileaks.

Oh and listen to me on Adam Carolla’s show this week!

Had a blast with the show last night Alison. It was so strange to hear Zebrahead brought up. Haven’t thought about that band in ages but it was good getting to talk to you alittle about Cursive and Far! You asked what other bands I enjoy – Jawbreaker, Murder City Devils, Pretty Girls Make Graves, Jawbox, At the Drive-In, Archers of Loaf, etc. (I could go on and on) You have great taste! Makes me curious what your band sounded like! Anyways, can’t wait to read the articles you posted. Keep up the great work (really innovative, fun show) and can’t wait to hear you on Carolla again! – Eric

Thanks so much! We opened for the Murder City Devils at the Troubadour ages
ago. I love them and was excited to hear they were touring again but didn’t
make it to any shows. Favorite Far album?

Aww, that’s awesome that you got to open for them! I got to see them at Riot Fest in Chicago in 09. Such a great show. My favorite Far album is probably “Water & Solutions” but “Tin Cans..” is really great too. I love the production on it. What’s your favorite? Did you hear their new album? It’s pretty damn good and they went on tour in ’10 to support it but I couldn’t make it to the show here. I was so pissed!
