I was always told you shouldn’t wear black on TV, especially if you have black hair, but I kind of like it.

    I must be one of the few people who isn't very concerned about a national DNA database. I think of DNA as just another form of identification like fingerprints and mug shots. Anything that will help catch the bad guys is good. Yes, there have to be safeguards in place to prevent abuse just like there are safeguards for social security information, health records, and tax returns.

    The other reason I'm in favor of it is because so many innocent people have been released from prison because of DNA evidence. It seems like every few months there's another story about someone being released from prison after 20 years because DNA testing has proven them innocent.

    Bill was concerned about DNA testing for misdemeanors, but a lot of serious crimes have been solved because of minor criminal violations. Timothy McVeigh was captured after the OK City bombing because he had a broken tail light on his car. And a parking ticket helped police catch David Berkowitz, the Son of Sam Killer.

    I think on Red Eye it's perfectly fine for you to wear black because the background is already so dark. Fortunately, there is enough contrast to see that you actually have hair, and aren't a Cheshire Cat :D
