Fantastic show, Alison! Miles and Curtney were great guests and lots of fun. I was surprised at how quickly 3 hours went by.

I wanted to post more information about the book that you mentioned at the end of the show. I didn't have time to get the links last night. The book is The Last Lecture by Randy Pausch, Computer Science Professor at Carnegie-Mellon University.

I first became aware of Prof. Pausch from this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kmIy7NCSWj0

Pausch's "last lecture" was given on Sept. 18, 2007. He died on July 25, 2008 at age 47 leaving behind a wife and 3 young children. Pausch spent some of his remaining months writing this book. It can be ordered from Amazon here: http://tinyurl.com/yclclhl

I found the book to be very inspirational. The Pittsburgh City Council declared November 19, 2007 to be "Dr. Randy Pausch Day" and he was named Pittsburgher of the Year for 2008.
