Dude, the start of this Vlog was like some kind of a scary movie.....that was a trip!

On behalf of the RosenFan Academy, I award the Vlog Oscar to Alison Rosen!

  • A few quick questions:
    -A bumper for a bumper?

-Why is the majority of NYC and it's burrows covered in scaffolding?
    Is it continuously deteriorating?

That was amazing - and very funny!

I kept waiting for you to walk into an ACORN office and tell them you need help bringing 14 underage male prostitutes from Bolivia into the U.S.

The skyline of Manhattan is stunning. People who haven't been to NYC really can't appreciate the enormity of the city and just how overwhelming it is. I've been to all of the larger U.S. cities -- none of them are like New York. Not Chicago, not Los Angeles, not Miami, not Dallas, not Detroit. The second largest U.S. city, Los Angeles, has less than half the population of New York.

When I went there as a kid, the city made me feel claustrophobic -- the gigantic buildings, the noise of the traffic, the rush of people, the whole urban environment. No other place has made me feel that way. It's intimidating and wonderous at the same time.

We had frost here last night. Frost! Do you know what that means, Alison? It means there was FROST!

When you've lived in NY your whole life, all of that eventually goes away, and everything just becomes... irritating.

    Brooklyn, huh?

How far did you walk? How many miles?

  • Awesome video on the everyday life in NY. Now if I ever actually travel to another state. You might want to get another friend doing the cam so it won't be too akward.
