Hey people. Long time no comment, I've been busy, away, otherwise engaged, dealing with a family tragedy, in prison, having a spring fling, cheating on alison with another vlogger, working as a long haul trucker, walking across America, lost at sea, living as an Amish farmer, searching for big foot, curing cancer, discovering the meaning of life and doing a little bit of laundry .

I have loads of Daily Alison's to catch up on.

Question Alison. Did Tobey earn scale for his performance or is the Daily Alison a non Union shop?

  • Right when you took the shot of the Peninsula where you say, "My mother said I should take this shot," MY mother said, "That is a good shot!" Our mothers are like two peas in a pod.

P.S. My mother says this comment is not totally accurate. She wants to add that she also took that shot when we lived there because she likes it too.

Balboa Island - is that where your dad docks his boat?

Great vlog, Alison. Your mother is SO BEAUTIFUL! And Tobey is as cute as ever.

I didn't know anything about Balboa Island so I found their web site. Here are some interesting facts:

    * Balboa Island is a man made Island that was dredged and filled right before World War I.

    * The Distances around Balboa Island:

    Balboa Island - 1.71 Miles
Little Balboa Island - .79 Miles
The Bridge and the Ramp - .5 Miles
    Total = 2.60 Miles

    * Original property lots were sold for $250 and now run in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions.

    * Every year they have a Christmas Boat Parade that began in 1908. On December 23, 1908, a gondolier named John Scarpa organized eight canoes and his own gondola, all lighted with Japanese lanterns and ceremoniously sailed around in the bay.

    * Errol Flynn, Humphrey Bogart, Dick Powell, Shirley Temple, James Cagney, Mae West and John Wayne all owned yachts in Newport Harbor.

    * The Rosen family are frequent visitors!

    Here's the island's web site: www.balboa-island.com

They should post your video on their site!

  • The Teddy Bear House was nice . . charming, ever; and well-balanced that wicked cascade that opened the program. Whoever inspired such rage? . . I thought I was ever part a gentleman? A dubious gentleman?

Still warm on the web, I watched my DailyAlison at 12:20 am, Vancouver Time (Newport Beach Time) and, in consequence, missed RED EYE’S new segment: "PROOP’S POOP," featuring Greg Proops and, what else?—I've no clue, for I was, instead, quite happily watching you. Balboa is grand, but how could you omit the Old Balboa Fire Station? Next trip, maybe yes on the station?

A great 9 minutes less 2 - - smiled throughout, appropriately peppered with giggles.
