Perhaps you’ll be surprised by what I look like? Except if you’re reading this here on this blog, you probably know what I look like. But tonight I went to The 404 meetup and met a guy who was like “Alison? THE Alison? Alison Rosen?” which of course I’m beyond used to, and then he told me I looked so different than how he imagined I looked while listening to me on the show because I look like “such a nice girl” but based on how “hysterical and raunchy” I sound, he expected me to be wearing a wife beater and smoking a cigarette. Guess he hasn’t seen me on the weekends.

    "Your story of the guy being surprised when he saw you in person thinking you'd look raunchy is kinda similar to how the world is stunned about the talent of that 47 year old British contestant singing for Britian's Got Talent. Was he wearing long sleeves during that time ? If not, I bet you saw goosebumps (or perhaps DUckylumps for ALison's sake) ."

    So I saw the Susan Boyle video and was actually moved. I mean crushed, I almost wept. It wasnt so much her performance, which was awesome, b ut the response of the judges and audience. I guess i love the underdog i don't know but it was great seeing Simon almost speechless, and I don't even watch american idol I just hear he is an ass.


    Anyway, your thoughts on this would be interesting Alison as you are both beautiful and talented, though sadly prolly can't sing like that, cause if ya could ya would never deprive your adoring fans of such a voice. Hmmm sounds like i am critical b ut really just wandering what ya think.



    By the way your were great on redeye as always and tell greg to stop starting the freaking mail right after the the halftime report when you are on its really annoying.

    I will be in the chat room tomorrow. I hope some of you guys (and gals) can show up to show love to Alison. If you aren't familiar with the 404, it's basically three nerdy, but lovable guys talking about current events and technology. They are a bunch of goofs, and Alison seems to fit in perfectly. Hope to see some of you there!
